1. Library is a place for study and research.

2. A user has to show identity card whenever he/she enters the Library.

3. All the personal belongings should be kept at the Counter.

4. Users are requested to allow the staff to search of person at the Library exit gate while entering / leaving the Library.

5. Users shall not engage in conversation in any part of the library and should not cause inconvenience to any other reader.

6. Personal books, printed material, photocopy material are not allowed inside the Library.

7. The users are liable for punishment for any damage caused to the reading material or to any other property of the library.

8. Any infringement of the library rules will render a member's privilege of borrowing books from the library and liable to cancellation.

9. The users are not allowed to bring the books issued to them inside the library unless they intend to return them.

10. The readers should check the book thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures etc., while borrowing the book.

11. No book in damaged condition will be accepted from the reader.

12. Loss of books must be reported immediately.

13. The borrowing facility can be withdrawn or restricted in case of misconduct by any user.

14. Outsiders are not allowed into the Library.

15. Smoking as well as sleeping is strictly prohibited in the Library premises.

16. Please maintain silence in the Library.

17. The Librarian reserves the right to cancel the privilege of the membership of any member who is found misbehaving or any other indecent behavior with the approval of competent authority.

18. The user has to pay Rs.20/- towards the loss of the token of the personal belongings counter.
