SR University (SRU) is deeply committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through policy engagement, multi-sector partnerships, international collaboration, academic programmes, and community-oriented sustainability education. The University integrates SDG principles across governance, research, teaching, and outreach to create a positive and measurable global impact.

Contribution to SDG Policy Development

SR University actively supports national and regional policy development related to the SDGs by contributing research insights, identifying challenges, offering policy recommendations, and participating in strategic sustainability discussions. Faculty experts provide consultancy, evidence-based analysis, and modelling for issues related to climate resilience, renewable energy, water management, digital education, and rural development. SRU also assists with monitoring and reporting frameworks for government and NGO-driven sustainability initiatives. The University regularly initiates and participates in cross-sector dialogues, conferences, and workshops involving government agencies, non-government organizations, industry associations, and academic institutions.
