National Cadet Corps (NCC):
NCC is a voluntary organization AND ITS activities carried out by cadets at the university level are diverse and aimed at fostering leadership, discipline, and a sense of social responsibility. The activities undertaken by NCC cadets at the university level includes institutional training, camp training, Leadership Training, Adventure Activities, Social service and Community Development, Cultural Events, Educational and Awareness Programs.
The National Cadet Corps is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The NCC at SR University was brought up in the long stretch of August 2020 under the alliance of 1(T) Compo (Tech) Regt. NCC, Warangal Group with strength of 160 cadets (Company). The aspirants of 1st year engineering students of university can enroll, if they have the necessary qualification models determined in the NCC Act. The boy cadets are enrolled into Senior Division (SD) and the girl cadets are enrolled into Senior Wing (SW).
NCC promotes nationalism, physical fitness, and character development through basic military training. This voluntary organization engages cadets in various activities, including:
The mission and vision of our NCC wing is to create awareness among the student community regarding its importance towards nation building. Besides, an NCC cadet is presented with a plethora of job opportunities in reputed government and public sector concerns. We intend to train students to participate in the Republic Day parade and pupils exchange program. SRUEF NCC wing contributes to the overall personality development of a person and mentally equips them to face the various challenges they may encounter in life.
