I am Syed Nawaz Pasha, an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, SR University. My academic interests include graph theory, combinatorial optimization, and metaheuristic algorithms, with a particular focus on solving graph domination problems using intelligent optimization techniques. My research explores the application of algorithms such as RIME (a physics-based optimization algorithm) to domination variants, including Roman-\(\{3\}\) domination, with the aim of developing efficient solutions to complex combinatorial problems.
In teaching, I am interested in making computer science concepts practical, engaging, and accessible to students. My teaching areas include Database Management Systems (DBMS), Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), and Software Engineering. I emphasize conceptual clarity, hands-on learning, problem-solving, and the application of theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
I am also interested in exploring the applications of graph-theoretic models and optimization techniques in emerging areas such as wireless sensor networks, network monitoring, cybersecurity, and intelligent computing. Through my research and teaching, I aim to contribute to innovative research, quality education, and the development of effective computational solutions to real-world problems.
