Dr. Rahul Mishra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SR University, Warangal. He holds a Ph.D. in Fluid–Structure Interaction from IIT Bombay and Monash University, Australia, and an M.Tech. from IIT Kanpur. He has industrial experience as a Software Engineer at Siemens Industry Software and Dassault Systèmes.

His research interests include computational fluid dynamics, fluid–structure interaction, bio-fluid mechanics, red blood cell dynamics, high-performance computing, Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs), and machine learning-based computational modelling. His postdoctoral research experience spans IIT Bombay, POSTECH, UNIST, and Tel Aviv University. His research has been published in reputed journals, including Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Physics of Fluids.

His teaching interests include High-Performance Computing, Python Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, Problem Solving, and Artificial Intelligence-assisted Coding. He is passionate about interdisciplinary research, mathematical modelling, scientific computing, and hands-on teaching that bridges theoretical foundations with practical engineering and computational applications.
