Dr. C. Madan Kumar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at SR University, Warangal, Telangana, India. He holds a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, awarded in 2023, an M.Tech. in Software Engineering (2012), and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (2004). With nearly two decades of academic and professional experience, he has served in various teaching positions at reputed engineering institutions, contributing significantly to teaching, research, student mentoring, and academic development.

His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Multimedia Security, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, and Blockchain Technology. His research primarily focuses on developing intelligent, secure, and efficient computational frameworks for real-world applications, particularly in healthcare, medical image analysis, disease prediction, authentication protocols, and privacy-preserving systems. He has published several research articles in reputed SCI-indexed international journals, IEEE conferences, and international publications. His scholarly contributions also include book chapters and multiple published and granted patent applications. He actively supervises research scholars and encourages interdisciplinary research collaborations and innovative problem-solving.

His teaching interests include Software Engineering, System Design, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, and Software Development Methodologies. He emphasizes outcome-based education, experiential learning, project-oriented teaching, industry-integrated curriculum development, and practical implementation of theoretical concepts. He is particularly interested in mentoring students through research projects, emerging technologies, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-oriented problem-solving activities.

Beyond teaching and research, he actively contributes to institutional development, academic administration, alumni engagement, industry collaboration, and research promotion. As Director – Alumni Affairs and Industry Interaction, he is committed to strengthening university–industry partnerships, fostering alumni networks, facilitating collaborative research, and creating opportunities for student career development.
