Dr. Markala Karthik Reddy, Ph.D., SMIEEE, is an accomplished academician, researcher, and educator serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Associate Dean – Project Showcase at SR University, Warangal, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, and brings over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and institutional development.

His research expertise spans Power Systems, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy Integration, Power Quality Enhancement, Smart Grids, Electric Vehicle Technologies, and Intelligent Control Systems. His research focuses on developing innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions to address emerging challenges in modern electrical power networks, renewable energy integration, and intelligent energy management.

Dr. Karthik has made significant contributions to scholarly research through more than 45 publications in reputed international journals, IEEE conferences, and edited volumes, including publications in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and Electric Power Systems Research. His research extends beyond conventional electrical engineering into interdisciplinary domains, emphasizing sustainable technologies, engineering optimization, intelligent systems, and real-world applications.

As a Senior Member of IEEE, he actively engages with the global research community through scholarly publications, peer-review activities, research collaborations, and academic knowledge exchange.
