Materials Chemist with over 14 years of research experience in functional organic materials, supramolecular assemblies, coordination polymers, and organic electronics. My research integrates molecular design, synthesis, self-assembly, and device fabrication to develop advanced materials for next-generation electronic and energy storage applications.
I have a strong record of leading interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with premier institutes across Asia, including IISER-Pune (India), Institute for Basic Science (IBS, South Korea), RIKEN (Japan), and currently CUHK, Shenzhen (China). This experience has equipped me with the ability to work across cultural and disciplinary boundaries to solve complex scientific challenges.
My contributions to the field are evidenced by over 20 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Nature, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Chemical Science. My work has been recognized for its impact, including a study highlighted in Chemistry World demonstrating a billion-fold increase in MOF conductivity. I am proficient in advanced characterization techniques (SCXRD, GI-WAXS, HR-XPS, ARPES, CV, EIS) and computational methods (DFT) to elucidate structure-property relationships.
Beyond research, I am deeply committed to mentorship and education, having guided BS-MS students and research fellows in experimental design, technical problem-solving, and scientific communication. I am now seeking to establish an independent research program that pushes the frontiers of functional organic materials and trains the next generation of innovative scientists.
