Dr. A. Maha Lakshmi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SR University, Warangal. She obtained her Ph.D. in Physics from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, focusing on multifunctional rare-earth-ion-doped mesoporous bioactive glasses for bone tissue engineering. Her research interests include bioactive glasses, biomaterials, functional nanomaterials, sol-gel processing, and regenerative medicine. Her work focuses on the development and characterization of advanced materials for bone regeneration, antibacterial applications, therapeutic ion delivery, and bioimaging. She is interested in interdisciplinary research integrating materials science, nanotechnology, and biomedical applications. She is also committed to undergraduate teaching, laboratory instruction, student mentoring, and fostering scientific curiosity and research-oriented learning.
