My research expertise lies in semiconductor materials, nanomaterials, soft matter, and advanced optoelectronic devices. My research focuses on the synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of functional materials, particularly metal oxides, liquid crystals, and hybrid nanocomposites, for advanced sensing and photodetection applications.
I work on developing high-performance UV photodetectors, gas sensors, optical sensors, and smart window technologies by integrating functional nanomaterials with liquid crystal systems.
My research interests also include thin-film fabrication, structure–property relationships, optical and electrical characterization, and the development of sensitive, stable, and energy-efficient devices. I am interested in expanding my research towards two-dimensional (2D) materials, semiconductor heterostructures, and next-generation optoelectronic devices for environmental monitoring, energy-saving technologies, and emerging sensing applications.
