Dr. Buddhadev Nandi is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at SRU. His research interests include experimental hydraulics, hydraulic structure modelling, river flow, bridge scour, sediment transport, limnology, and computational modelling using CFD and machine learning. He is interested in bridge safety, sustainable river management, and water resources development. He teaches Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines, Hydrology, Irrigation Engineering, and other water resources-related subjects. His work aims to develop practical solutions for water resources management and resilient hydraulic infrastructure.
