My research focuses on the development of natural polymer-based biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, with emphasis on polysaccharide-derived scaffolds and hydrogels. Expertise includes cartilage tissue engineering and chondrocyte regeneration, biomaterial scaffold design, wound healing, drug delivery systems, biomaterial characterization, and the application of statistical and AI/ML approaches for biomaterial optimization.
I am deeply passionate about teaching, especially science, as it offers endless opportunities to explore, question, and understand the world around us. I believe teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but about nurturing curiosity, encouraging critical thinking, and inspiring students to discover the 'why' behind every phenomenon. My goal is to create a meaningful learning experience that empowers students to think independently, explore new ideas, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
