Dr. M. VishnuPriyan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at SR University and currently serves as Associate Dean – Planning at the university. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology and has professional experience spanning teaching, research, and civil engineering practice. He is also engaged in remote postdoctoral research in the Department of Civil Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia.

His research focuses on sustainable construction materials, solid and hazardous waste management, waste printed circuit board (WPCB) fibre- and powder-based concrete, fibre-reinforced concrete, and e-waste-derived construction materials. His work integrates experimental investigation, microstructural characterization, response surface methodology (RSM), and artificial neural networks (ANN) to evaluate the mechanical, durability, and sustainability performance of construction materials.

His teaching interests include reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, foundation engineering, surveying, and related civil engineering laboratory courses. In addition to teaching and research, he contributes to the academic community through editorial and peer-review activities for international journals, including Scientific Reports, Discover Materials, and Discover Civil Engineering, and serves as a reviewer for journals published by ASCE, Springer Nature, and Scientific.Net.
