I am a researcher specializing in multifunctional nanophosphors and semiconductor nanomaterials for luminescence and bioimaging applications. My research focuses on the synthesis, structural characterization, and optical tuning of rare-earth-doped nanophosphors and fluorescent nanomaterials for advanced biomedical imaging. I have significant expertise in developing Eu³⁺-, Ce³⁺-, Dy³⁺doped monoclinic Y₂O₃ nanophosphors as well as doped ZnS nanophosphors through low-temperature wet chemical methods and evaluating their performance in fluorescence bioimaging. My work integrates materials synthesis, spectroscopic analysis, and biological assessment to establish structure-property-performance relationships. With experience in cell culture, cytotoxicity studies, and live-cell imaging, I aim to develop biocompatible and targeted fluorescent probes as safer alternatives to conventional imaging agents. My teaching interests include classical and quantum mechanics, electromagnetics theory, optics, nanomaterials, materials characterization, spectroscopy, luminescence, solid-state physics, and interdisciplinary applications of nanotechnology.
