My academic and research pursuits are driven by a commitment to advancing sustainable, climate-resilient and resource-efficient agricultural production systems. With a Ph.D. in Agronomy, my research focuses on Conservation Agriculture, Climate-Smart Agriculture, crop residue management, zero-tillage systems, integrated nutrient management, weed management and soil health.
I have developed substantial research experience in evaluating innovative agronomic practices, improving nutrient-use efficiency, enhancing crop productivity and understanding the environmental implications of agricultural management practices. My research contributions include peer-reviewed national and international publications covering sustainable crop production, conservation agriculture, nutrient management and emerging environmental challenges in agroecosystems. I possess expertise in field experimentation, soil and plant nutrient analysis, statistical data analysis and scientific research communication, with proficiency in R, SPSS, OPSTAT and STATA. Beyond research, I am actively engaged in undergraduate teaching, student research mentoring, academic coordination and institutional accreditation.
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Associate Dean – Accreditation at the School of Agriculture, SR University, my professional vision is to bridge scientific research, innovative education and academic leadership to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of agricultural science and sustainable farming systems.
