The topic in which I am interested is “Water-Energy-Food Nexus”. The themes are Governance, Sustainability and Public Policy.
My Ph.D. Thesis on the same topic can better be couched in terms of Process-Outcome dichotomy of the Governance literature. Toward analysing the issue of Allocation and Access from a governance perspective led to a journey that span across cross-cutting themes of knowledge, Power, Norms and Scale. The broad structure of governance involves Architecture, Adaptation, Allocation and Access, Agency, and Accountability.
Due to the broad range of actors that span across these three resources, I intend to integrate the existing frameworks to better analyse the sustainability transitions. In doing so, I expect the movement from process to outcome is accomplished.
Given my research interest, I may contribute to effectively analyse the allocation and access issues in the light of multiple stakeholders.
Through my Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Experience, I can develop a course that focus on Allocation and Access issues to Natural Resources from an environmental justice lens.
