Dr. Itishree Panda working as an Assistant Professor of Sociology in the School of Sciences and Humanities at SR University, Warangal, Telangana. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, in 2025, and her Master's degree in Sociology from Ravenshaw University, Odisha. Her research interests include women’s empowerment, self-help groups, tribal livelihoods, the Forest Rights Act, climate change, social inclusion, and sustainable development. She has published several research articles in reputed national and international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She has also presented research papers at national and international conferences and serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals. She is committed to quality teaching, interdisciplinary research, and contributing to knowledge through socially relevant research.
