I am a physical chemist and Assistant Professor at SR University, Warangal, with a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from IIT Hyderabad and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from IIT Madras. My research lies at the interface of electrochemistry, photochemistry and materials science, with a focus on electrochromic materials and devices, supercapacitors, metal-ion and lithium–sulfur/selenium batteries, and decoupled water electrolysis for green hydrogen. I apply physical-chemistry principles, such as electrochemical kinetics and thermodynamics, charge and ion transport, and photo- and thermal isomerization kinetics, to design materials and devices that store, convert and switch energy more efficiently.
My teaching interests include physical chemistry, electrochemistry, materials chemistry and chemical kinetics. I enjoy mentoring MSc and PhD students in experimental design, data interpretation and scientific writing, and I aim to build a research group in sustainable energy storage and smart materials.
