I am Dr. Gurusamy Lakshmanan, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at SR University, Telangana, India. I obtained my Ph.D. in Materials Electrochemistry from Feng Chia University, Taiwan, in 2019, followed by extensive postdoctoral research experience supported by Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST/NSTC).

My research expertise encompasses Materials Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Nanotechnology, Defect Engineering, Electrocatalysis, and Computational Chemistry. My primary research interests include the development of advanced nanostructured electrode materials for supercapacitors, hydrogen production, electrochemical sensing, photocatalysis, and environmental applications. I particularly focus on oxygen vacancies, heterostructures, and interface engineering to enhance electrochemical performance.

I have published research articles in reputed international journals, including Coordination Chemistry Reviews, Chemical Engineering Journal, Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Energy Storage, and Applied Surface Science. My academic contributions include international research awards, editorial responsibilities, and peer-review activities.

My teaching interests include Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials Chemistry, Nanochemistry, and Computational Chemistry. I am committed to research-oriented teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, postgraduate research supervision, and developing sustainable energy and environmental technologies through innovative materials research.
