Dr. Lakshmana Reddy N, is well qualified and skilled researcher excel in the field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology for Energy and Environmental applications. Hands-on experience in synthesis of wide range of nanomaterials (0D, 1D, & 2D) for photocatalytic energy applications (photo(electro)catalytic H2 generation.
Gold Medalist in M.Sc., for Meritorious Male Student of the University. Secured prestigious INSPIRE Fellowship sponsored by DST, Govt. of India for 5 years to pursue Ph.D. program on “Advanced Semiconductor Nanostructures for Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation under Solar Light Irradiation” under the guidance of Prof. M.V. Shankar. Dr. Reddy has ten years of research expertise in synthesizing several nanostructured materials (nanoparticles, quantum dots, TiO2 nanotubes, nanorods, nanobelts, composites of metal oxides), 2D g-C3N4 nanosheets based composites, core-shell structures, hematite (α-Fe2O3) based photoanodes PEC water splitting for H2 generation and environmental remediation.
Dr. Reddy worked as research associate in Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali, India, followed by Postdoctoral researcher in Kyungpook National University, South Korea, in the project Hematite based photoanodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting (2018-2020). Later he extended his research worked on 2D g-C3N4 based photocatalysts as Brain Korea BK21 researcher in Jeonbuk National University, South Korea (2021-2022) followed by postdoc position in KU Leuven University, Belgium. Followed by senior researcher in CNRS, France. Dr. Reddy have published 54 papers in SCI journals with h-index of 33 and more than 3700+ citations and author of 18 book chapters in the area of heterogeneous photocatalysis for energy and environmental applications.
