Dr. Arjun Kumar is an Assistant Professor with expertise in Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Modelling, and Computational Science. His research interests include mathematical epidemiology, infectious disease dynamics, mathematical immunology, cancer modelling, mathematical ecology, and optimal control theory. His research focuses on the development and analysis of mathematical models using stability and bifurcation analysis, stochastic processes, sensitivity analysis, and numerical simulations to understand complex biological and biomedical phenomena. He is also interested in integrating machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data-driven approaches with mathematical modelling to address real-world challenges in healthcare and biological sciences.
His teaching interests encompass a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Differential Equations, Mathematical Modelling, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods, Probability and Statistics, Optimization Techniques, and Computational Mathematics. He is also interested in teaching and mentoring students in Python Programming, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Scientific Computing. He aims to foster analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and computational skills among students while encouraging interdisciplinary learning and research-oriented education.
