Dr. Mohd Vasiulla is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, SR University, where he also serves as Assistant Dean (Alumni) for the Department of EEE. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, with a thesis on special curvature properties of manifolds. His research lies in differential geometry, with a focus on curvature tensors, quasi-Einstein manifolds, contact manifolds and their applications to general relativity, modified gravity and cosmology. He has published 28 research papers, 12 of them in SCI/SCIE journals, has 7 more under review, and has six patent filings. He is a recipient of the Research Excellence Award (2025) and a Best Paper Award (2021). Before joining SR University, he taught at the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Currently supervising 2 Ph.D. scholars at SR University: Ms. Seema (Supervisor, joined July 2026) and Mr. Sambaru Raja Shekhar (Co-Supervisor, Relativity and Cosmology, joined January 2026). Has also mentored 2 Ph.D. students working on Ricci semi-symmetric and Ricci pseudo-symmetric manifolds. Open to supervising Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Tech project students in differential geometry, general relativity, cosmology and geometric methods in AI.
