Dr. Venkata Subba Reddy Gangireddygari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology and Deputy Controller of Examinations at S.R. University, Warangal, Telangana. He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, specializing in the biodegradation of organophosphorus insecticides. He has extensive research experience through postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Johannesburg, University of South Africa, and the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science, South Korea. His research interests include biodegradation, bioremediation, environmental microbiology, biotechnology, plant–microbe interactions, and plant virus management. He has published numerous research articles in reputed international journals, contributed book chapters, and received a SERB Young Scientist Research Grant of ₹35 lakh. His research contributions span microbial enzyme technology, plant disease management, nanomaterials, and environmental sustainability. He is also actively involved in teaching, postgraduate research supervision, academic administration, and examination management.
