My research focuses on waste-to-energy technologies, particularly the conversion of plastic waste into alternative fuels through pyrolysis and their application in compression ignition engines. I completed my Ph.D. from NIT Mizoram and subsequently pursued postdoctoral research from IIT Roorkee. My research contributions include 21 peer-reviewed journal articles in reputed journals, including Energy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, and Thermal Science and Engineering Progress, along with three Springer book chapters and one granted German patent. My technical expertise includes Plastic Pyrolysis, Fuel Emulsification, Bio-additive Synthesis, CI and CRDI Engine Performance and Emission testing, Hydrogen-induced Dual-Fuel Engine Operation, Exergy and Sustainability Assessments, and Kinetic Analysis using TGA data. In teaching, I am interested in Thermodynamics, Internal Combustion Engines, Heat Transfer, Renewable Energy Resources, and Mechanics of Solids. I aim to integrate fundamental engineering concepts with experimental learning and contemporary research developments to provide students with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering.
