I am a horticultural scientist specializing in Vegetable Science (Olericulture), with approximately 10 years of professional experience in teaching, research, and extension. I currently serve as Associate Professor, Department of Horticulture at the School of Agriculture, SR University, Telangana, along with responsibilities as University Horticulturist and Associate Dean - Student Welfare (Hostels). My academic and research interests include vegetable crop improvement, genetic diversity and variability, heat tolerance, resistance to viral diseases in tomato and chilli, protected cultivation, postharvest technology, and sustainable horticultural production systems.

I have experience in undergraduate teaching, P.G & Ph.D. scholar supervision, research project management, curriculum delivery, academic administration, and farmer-oriented extension activities. My research interests also encompass innovative horticultural technologies, crop quality enhancement, genetic resource conservation, and climate-resilient vegetable production. I am committed to integrating scientific research with practical horticultural applications, mentoring students and research scholars, and promoting sustainable and technology-driven horticultural practices. Through teaching, research, and extension, I aim to contribute to academic excellence, horticultural innovation, and improved livelihoods for farmers and Nutritional Security.
