Dr. Nirapada Santra is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at SR University, Warangal. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics (Mathematical Biology) from IIEST Shibpur, an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and a B.Ed. from Visva-Bharati, and qualified CSIR NET in 2019. His expertise lies in mathematical modelling, dynamical systems, and optimal control, with computational skills in MATLAB, Python, and LaTeX.
His research applies mathematical and data-driven methods to biological and epidemiological systems. His teaching interests include mathematical modelling, numerical methods, and AI-assisted problem solving using Python, helping students build, analyse, and interpret models of real-world problems. He also supervises doctoral scholars and welcomes collaboration.
