I am Dr. Sajal Mandal, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at SR University. I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computing from the Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, in 2024. I received my Master's degree in Mathematics and Computing from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and qualified for the CSIR-UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Mathematical Sciences in 2019.
My research interests include Observational Cosmology, General Relativity, Dark Energy, and Modified Theories of Gravity. My research primarily focuses on developing and testing cosmological models using observational data and statistical techniques, particularly Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis.
I have published several research articles in reputed international journals, including Q1-ranked journals. Apart from research, I am interested in teaching mathematics, computational methods, scientific programming, and interdisciplinary applications of mathematics and artificial intelligence.
