Bediga Sharan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, SR University, Warangal, and a part-time PhD scholar at SR University. His research focuses on energy-efficient computing for AI infrastructure: measuring the real power and energy behaviour of large language model (LLM) inference on datacentre GPUs, and designing scheduling and GPU clock-control methods that reduce energy per token while meeting latency targets. He holds two published Indian patent applications, assigned to SR University, in energy-aware LLM inference.
He is an AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate and coordinates the Cloud Computing course, where students build working cloud products. As Faculty Mentor of the Cloud Computing & DevOps Club and the Salesforce Campus Club, he runs hands-on workshops that take students from an idea to a product deployed on AWS. His teaching interests include cloud computing, DevOps, data engineering and AI agents.
